Ericka Palmer

I am Ericka Palmer, I am a native of Buffalo, NY. I enjoyed going to BCAT because it taught me new ways to express creativity, which is why I participated in the artist alumni show using one of my favorite projects at BCAT, a paper collage, to make one of my favorite things, a jellyfish.

Eva Dwuznik

Poetry and traditional visual art play tag in Dwuznik’s intimate captures of her everyday. A casual glance formed into a meaningful composition reveals the authors point of view as a dreamy and somewhat misty recollection. Steeped in tradition these images act is seemingly random screenshot moments from a broader narrative tipping her hand as the poet behind each brush stroke

Franklin Dunn Jr

An artist that currently is in their third year of studying Architecture at the University at Buffalo. I was a part of BCAT for 3 years, from 2021-2024. With a short stint as a teacher assistant in 2025. I am a visual artist that focuses on the small things in both life and art.

Kai Jenkins

Whimsy and color are always front and center in the works of Kai Jenkins. Heavily influenced by internet culture and anime, Jenkins’ works always poke fun at the sardonic nature of images and their relationship to us. Finding space between emptiness and fulfillment, the images she makes find our funny bone on the way out to make sure we have a small chuckle.

Kendric Warrick's paintings center on portraiture as a vehicle for memory and emotion. Rich color, dramatic lighting, and expressive brushwork create figures that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant. Working in frenetic bursts Warrick creates large bodies of works that both honor traditional portraiture all while burying it’s identity in the fervor of the making process.

Kiarelis Rivera

Graduating high school early was not something I had on my bucket list last year. It came suddenly - and I'm honestly grateful for it. I miss BCAT sooo much but I'm off to greater things in my life. I do feel sadness at the thought of not being with my friends anymore but I'm happy where I am right now. As of currently, I am in a summer program for college. I live on campus, eat on campus, and learn on campus. I love and hate it.

Lisa Brooks

Hi I'm Lisa Brooks, my favorite color is pink and I've been an artist since I was a kid. I'm more of a traditional artist. So colored pencils and painting mostly. I love to draw people and expressions. At the moment I'm focusing more of anatomy and colors. I feel like my anatomy can always use work, so I pace myself on what I practice.

Lilly Goines

In Goines’ work she explores concealment and revelation through a restrained visual language. Fragments of the face emerge from fields of darkness, inviting viewers to consider identity as something simultaneously visible and withheld. The works refuse traditional portrait conventions and leave the viewer lacking in clarity, as if they are remembered parts of a dream. These conventions she expels reveals her sense of the world.

Madi Wolfson

Working between illustration, graffiti aesthetics, and expressive portraiture, Madi Wolfson creates exaggerated characters that balance humor with emotional intensity. Bold color and distorted features transform familiar faces into energetic studies of personality and feeling. These works feature their original characters called “Sugar Babies”

Miguel Alvira Martinez

Miguel Martinez's multidisciplinary practice combines collage and experimental graphic design to examine how images and language generate meaning. In the large format collage, layering fragments, symbols, and printed material, the work invites viewers to navigate shifting relationships between narrative, culture, and visual communication. In the design images Miguel explores the relationship between the “order of things” and the ridiculous nature of category. All of these works are rooted his background as a poet.

Millie-Rae R.S

Musician, Poet, Artist. Millie-Rae is a crafter of messages. The subtle power in her ability to lay out vulnerable personal narratives while giving the audience space to join her in that soft, soft space. Truth telling and forthright, Mille-Rae never leaves a stone to hide under and always remembers she is in a glass house as she throws her stones

Mo Hill

In Hill’s work, the photographer explores narrative and character in inanimate objects. Through the use of composition, lighting, and framing, his photographs personify everyday objects, allowing humans to connect and see themselves within the lives of these objects in their quiet moments.

Patricia O'Sullivan

Combining delicate draftsmanship with ornamental design to elevate a quiet moment of observation. The intimate portrait of a resting cat becomes both a careful study and a celebration of tenderness. Drawn to soft liminal spaces just out of the ordinary, O'Sullivan's work combines an odd sense of belonging with a deep sense of wonder. In her works you can always find a sense of awe in the smallest of details as if a friend has just shared a secret.

Soundioulou Cissoko

I’m Soundioulou, I’m 25 years old, i worked at BCAT during the summers in video production all throughout high school. I’m a welder in transportation full time but I enjoy making motion graphics and framing video and photos in conjunction. If I had to name an inspiration it would be DVD menu screens.
